Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL) signs agreement with Agfa HealthCare for the installation of ORBIS Care
Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announces today that it has signed an agreement with the Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL - Eastern Limburg Hospital Group) for the installation of its ORBIS Care solution at all of its three sites. ORBIS Care is Agfa HealthCare’s leading nursing management system, providing workflow solutions for, amongst others, nursing documentation, planning of nursing activities and automatically deriving nursing scores (VG-MZG). ORBIS Care will replace ZOL’s current paper-based workflow. Moreover, ORBIS Care is fully integrated in Agfa HealthCare’’s Electronic Medical Record including prescription solutions for medication, lab tests and radiology exams.

Agfa HealthCare and TomTec partner on echocardiography analysis and measurement solution
(ESC – Booth #C05:07) Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announces today that it has signed an agreement with TomTec, active in the sector of echocardiography image analysis, reporting and data management, for the integration of its Image-Arena solution into the company’s IMPAX Cardiovascular Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). TomTec offers a wide range of 2D and 3D/4D technologies for visualization, analysis, reporting and archiving of echocardiography imaging data.

New IMPAX HeartStation improves efficiency of diagnosis of 15-lead and 12-lead ECG studies
(ESC – Booth #C05:07) Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announces today that it is launching its advanced IMPAX HeartStation solution for ECG analysis in Europe at the European Society of Cardiology’s (ESC) annual congress in Stockholm, Sweden. IMPAX Heartstation 1.3, already installed in the United States, is the company’s comprehensive data management solution for automating the processing and storage of electrocardiograms. The solution offers an extensive range of ECG related clinical tasks and is now available across Europe.

Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, today announces that Western Maryland Regional Medical Center’s recent upgrade to the newest version of IMPAX HeartStation ECG Management System has helped enable the rapid diagnosis and treatment of patients with posterior wall heart attacks. The Cumberland-based hospital is using the recently released features of IMPAX HeartStation to digitally review and archive 15-lead ECG studies.
